I studied Law at Oxford University and for my Solicitors’ Finals at Chester Law School.
I trained at Weightmans and Cuff Roberts North Kirk in Liverpool.
I then worked for Hepworth & Chadwick which became Eversheds’ Leeds Office. I was a member of the Eversheds’ Practice Review Group which worked on “know how” and best practice.
After that I worked at a niche commercial Law Firm in Manchester.
A while later I returned to Leeds next becoming, for 12 years, a Partner in the Property Department of a large Leeds’ Law Firm.
I left the Partnership in September 2012 to have more time and freedom for other interests. Although I still do some work at that Firm’s successor practice, which is itself a UK Top 50 Law Firm.
